They were all up in arms for a few months. Thereafter, it was business-as-usual.

As much as one can complain about price hikes. It is still some of the cheapest taxi services in the OECD and Singaporean's can't live without their luxuries. It is a sad thing to say about one's own countrymen but that is how they are.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297647034431552481.post-64953250390386265802011-12-10T01:32:58.848+08:002011-12-10T01:32:58.848+08:00People overlook that aerial is a backbreaking acqu...People overlook that aerial is a backbreaking acquaintance and alteration time zones absolutely takes it out of you.

luton airport transportharrybiconhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06576105520410581305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297647034431552481.post-23402142975996826652011-12-08T16:31:02.905+08:002011-12-08T16:31:02.905+08:00Personally I’m always surprised how much principal...Personally I’m always surprised how much principals suddenly matters to Singaporeans when money is coming out of their pockets. The bottom-line is simple; if you think the fares are too high, then DON’T TAKE TAXIS! Is that truly so difficult of a task? I don’t think so.Ghosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05160118520611754510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297647034431552481.post-40182020447903167082011-12-08T12:37:37.994+08:002011-12-08T12:37:37.994+08:00It's not a matter of needs and wants, it's...It's not a matter of needs and wants, it's all about the reasoning and principle of the whole matter. If going by your reasoning, raising taxi fares to $10 for flag down will also not matter, but the question is is it fair?

I don't take taxi because I drive. But raising taxi fairs does have ripple effect and at the end of the day will affect everyone. Only thing is if you are millionaire or born with a silver spoon, you will probably not feel anything.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297647034431552481.post-8205652650931501882011-12-08T10:45:53.829+08:002011-12-08T10:45:53.829+08:00Thus far, I don’t it as a problem. So far none of the other taxi companies has announced a price increase so Singaporeans can still choose what taxis to take.Ghosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05160118520611754510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297647034431552481.post-86744662433967255172011-12-07T22:28:12.299+08:002011-12-07T22:28:12.299+08:00Cedric Foo says it is a free market.
