Secret Six #1- The Secret Six was one of the best thing that came out of Infinite Crisis. Before that, who had even heard of Catman? However, DC probably waited too long to come out with an ongoing. This series is 1-2 years too late but a series starring six super-villains is always fun to read. Writer Gail Simone has some love for these characters and showed a good, distinct grasp on these villains. Deadshot, Catman, Savage Scandal, Ragman and Bane all ring true to their characters and the scene with the stripper was actually funny. The only part I dislike was the unnecessary cameo at the end. As the first issue of an ongoing, I think it should avoid all unneeded guest-stars at least until the series managed to get their sea-legs. Outside that, a good solid issue.
