Dragonball

It took a while but it's finally on the road. After endless false starts, Hollywood has finally started shooting for the live-action version of Japanese comic book series "Dragonball".

Shooting has already started in Los Angeles and Mexico and will start Justin Chatwin as Goku and James Marsters (Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Goku's main enemy, Piccolo. Shockingly, Hollywood got Stephen Chow to produce the film. Yes, Stephen Chow as the Stephen Chow from Hong Kong, star of "Shaolin Soccer" and "Kung Fu Hustle."

The Hollywood film seems to revolve around the same plot; Goku's quest to protect Earth from evil forces and find the various mystical objects known as "dragonballs." Let's see how they destroy the beloved anime.
