The King Is Back To Save The Day

The king has returned, only this time the king has turned into the messiah.

That is basically the story of the new Formula One (F1) season. After a season of scandals and off-season of turmoil, Michael Schumacher's comeback couldn’t have come at a better time for F1.

After the Liegate of Lewis Hamilton and the Crashgate of Renault, manufacturing giants Toyota, BMW and Honda have left, and Renault already has one foot out of the F1's door. Having a 7-time world champion returning to the sport was a heaven’s gift to the desperate F1. After all, it’s hard to get excited over Lotus, Campos, Virgin and USF1, the new teams on the block.

Never mind that Schumacher is already 41, retired for 4 years, is generally hated when he was in F1, and had a neck injury that kept him out of the season in 2009; the messiah has come to save F1!
