DC Universe Online: Legends #10- At the most basic level, the plot of this issue should be a winner. The Justice League, Batman in particular, is unhappy with Superman after the battle last issue and confronted him on his disappearing act. Unfortunately, the would-be confrontation never happen because Superman overheard the whole thing and then nip it in the bud by apologizing first. Possible but it also turned a (would-be) dramatic moment into an uncomfortable scene where everyone was falling over themselves in self-criticism. Writer Marv Wolfman missed a chance there and then compounded the problem by putting in a stupid plot device to get the people of Metropolis to turn against Superman. Sorry, but that’s a stupid idea that’s just ridiculous.
