That Wonder Woman Picture

This is it! "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" may be between Batman and Superman but a whole host of superheroes are supposed to make their movie debut in that film.

As the final member of The Trinity, Wonder Woman has been the hero most fanboys want to look at. The first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman has been met with…well, an unfavorable reception. Fans complain about the toned down colors of the costume and the casting of Gadot as Wonder Woman. One guy say (and this is my favorite) “this Wonder Woman picture looks like skinny Xena without the traditional bright colors of the comic version.”

Now I perfectly understand what fans are saying. Part of the reason is that Wonder Woman’s costume is so iconic that any changes to it will offend a large part of the fanbase. The picture doesn’t fill me with confidence that they will do the character right. How could they when the costume color scheme is nothing but bronze?

However in showing the picture, director Zack Snyder is basically also saying it’s too late to complain. Filming has began and like it or not, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman) will hit theaters on May 6, 2015.

So let’s stop with the complaining and wait for the movie. I mean Gadot as Wonder Woman can’t possibly be worse than Ben Affleck as Batman right? Let’s wait for Dawn of Justice...then we can savage them!
